Recently, in our country, welfare education to relate to senior citizens is regarded as important, and it is placed in the one of the education subjects. And it was added for the promotion of the high school educational reform of Ministry of Education while ability, interest, the course of the student diversified. Each school enlarge width of the choice of the learning as much as possible to increase each person s personality to the maximum in each school, and the making of school where there are various characteristics can be promoted. As one of the result, "welfare course" Senior High School setting "the welfare" as a subject increases. In addition, the opportunities when in recent years the post of welfare is taken up in the various media increase. This gives big influence to a high school student performing future occupation choice. Because like this, I looked back on the history of the senior high school welfare department by this report and arranged it how the media took up post of welfare. In addition, I did not only clarify the occupation image to find a future welfare talented person but also spoke that the understanding of the senior high school teachers such as a welfare subject charge teacher, the vocational counseling teacher was necessary. Besides, the teaching materials development that was able to include audiovisual materials conveyed the occupation image of the post of welfare precisely by a high school student enunciated with necessity to aim at the substantiality more than a thing of welfare education. |

近年我が国では、高齢者等に関する福祉教育が重要視され、教育科目のひとつに位置づけられている。そして、生徒の能力・関心・進路等が多様化する中、福祉教育は文部科学省の高等学校教育改革の推進に加えられた。各学校では一人ひとりの個性を最大限に伸ばすために、学習の選択の幅をできる限り拡大し、多様な特色ある学校づくりが進めてられている。その成果のひとつとして、「福祉」を教科として設定している福祉科高等学校が増加している。また、福祉職は近年様々なメディアで取り上げられる機会が増加している。このことは、将来の職業選択を行う高校生にも大きな影響を及ぼす。このようなことから、本稿では高校福祉科の歴史を振り返るとともに、メディアが福祉職をどのように取り上げているかについて整理を行った。また、将来の福祉人材を確保するためには、その職業像を明らかにするだけではなく、福祉科目担当教員、進路指導教員等の高校教師の理解も必要であることを述べた。さらには、福祉職の職業像を高校生に的確に伝えられる視聴覚教材等を含めた教材開発など、福祉教育のより一層の充実を目指す必要性を論述した。 |
