 note = {application/pdf, 論文(Article), 精神医療に関する情報を事前に利用者に提供することは、利用者の自己選択、自己決定の幅を広げることにつながる。病院内でチーム医療の一端を担う作業療法士は、病院訪問、情報誌作成の過程において、医療従事者と一般市民の格差を埋めることや、一般市民の精神医療に対する理解促進に貢献することが可能である。大阪、そして今般新潟において、NPO団体が精神病院を訪問し、その結果を本として出版した。NPOがその多様性を確保し、病院訪問や情報誌作成などの活動をしていくためには、患者、家族、一般市民に加え、医療従事者の参加が重要であると考える。社会活動における作業療法士の活動は我が国ではいまだ少ない現状であるが、世界作業療法士連盟 (WFOT) の「作業療法士教育の最低基準」(2002年) でも社会活動が推奨され、地域の保健・福祉ニーズ、文化的背景または保健・福祉システム を理解し貢献することが求められている。この精神医療情報の公開という作業は医療・保健を担う専門職を含めた発信である点が重要であると考える。, Providing users with information on mental healthcare in advance will lead to users self-choice and broaden the range of self-decision. Occupational therapists play a role in team healthcare in the hospital. During the process of hospital visits and making information pamphlets, it is possible for them to bridge the information gap between the healthcare service providers and the general public and to contribute to the promotion of understanding of the general public toward mental healthcare. In Osaka, and now in Niigata, an NPO visited mental hospitals and has published a book of these visits. In order for NPOs to secure their diversification and implement their activities such as hospital visits and issuing information pamphlets, it is important for not only patients, their family members, and the general public, but also healthcare service providers to participate in the activities. In Japan, occupational therapists have not been very active yet in social activities. However the minimum standard of occupational therapist education of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) encourages social activities and asks future occupational therapists for understanding and contributing to community health and welfare needs, cultural backgrounds, and the healthcare and welfare system As for disclosure of information on mental healthcare, it is important to include the messages of professionals who engage themselves in medicine and healthcare.},
