In order to achieve these objectives, the author first explored his own experience of an intensive session of Naikan as well as reviewing previous researches on Naikan Therapy. Therapeutic elements such as the therapeutic structure of Naikan Therapy, the existence of an interviewer, the three questions of Naikan, and the concentration of attention were taken into account. Then, a perspective which sees Naikan Therapy as a 'play' was presented, and an attempt to view Naikan Therapy as a technique of story making was proposed. It appeared to be very characteristic that reframing takes place in a short time by using the three questions to look into vourself in a dramatic virtual space, and a new story is formed based on the discovery of 'the self as other' in Naikan Therapy.
