 note = {application/pdf, 論文(Article), 健常高齢者や要介護高齢者の生活の質(QOL)を維持、向上させるため、食への社会的関心が高まってきている。食すなわち口から食べる行為と口腔環境とは密接に関連することから、近年、口腔ケアの重要性が指摘されてきている。 2001年4月、新潟リハビリテーション病院の開院と同時に歯科・歯科口腔外科が新設され、高齢障害者の口腔環境改善のため、ベッドサイドでの専門的な口腔ケアに取り組んできた。今回、入院患者の口腔環境の実態と、口腔ケアの実施状況を把握するために臨床的検討を行った。対象患者は334名で、有歯顎者190名中137名が〓蝕に罹患し、146名が歯周疾患に罹患していた。無歯顎者144名中72名が義歯使用者であったが、大半が不適合を呈していた。専門的口腔ケアを実施した285名の口腔ケア回数は延べ5995回に及び、ブラッシングや、口腔粘膜清拭、舌苔除去、義歯洗浄等が組み合わせて行われており、一人あたり平均施行回数は21.O回で、平均所要時間は9.9分であった。, Social interest in eating has been raised as an issue in maintaining the quality of life among healthy senile person and in improving that of elderly handicapped patients. In recent years, the importance of oral health care has been pointed out, because eating and mastication are closely related to the oral condition. In April 2001, the pepartment of Dentistry and Oral Surgery was established simultaneously with the opening of Niigata Rehabilitation Hospital. The oral condition of elderly handicapped inpatients has been improved by our professional oral health care at the bedside. Clinical examination was performed in order to clarify the reality of oral conditions and oral health care methods. Subjects were 334 inpatients. Of these, 137 patients demonstrated dental caries and 146 patients demonstrated periodontal disease among 190 inpatients with teeth. Seventy-two patients wore full dentures among 144 senile edentulous inpatients, but their dentures were almost unfitted. Professional oral health care was performed 5995 times for 285 inpatients. Teeth brushing, neat wipe of the oral mucosa, removal of excessive tongue coating and washing dentures were combined for oral health care. The average enforcement frequency was 21.0 times. The average required time for care was 9.9 minutes.},
