Thirteen parsons with mental disabled made executive committee and became leaders for making arrangements and practices of this event. They took three months to make preparations for the practice. As a result, these two scores became higher than before; self-esteem and control for the future. It means this experiment proved the successful of their empowerment progresses., 茨城県大洋村(現,茨城県鉾田市)では,精神障害者(以下,当事者)のエンパワーメントの向上を目的として,当事者と住民の参画による普及啓発イベントの開催を試みた。 13名の当事者が実行委員となり,普及啓発イベントの企画とその運営の中心を担い,3ケ月間の準備を経て開催された。そこで,本研究においてはこうした一連の活動が当事者のエンパワーメントに及ぼす影響に関して検討を行なった。その結果,参画後は参画前に比べて「自尊/自己効力感」,「楽天/将来へのコントロール」の2項目について,スコアの改善が示された。以上の結果から,今回の試みが当事者のエンパワーメント向上に有益な影響を及ぼしたことが推察され,その要因として当事者への適切な役割分担と主体性の尊重,当事者に対する周囲の一貫した支持と肯定的態度などが考えられた。},
