However in order to make clear the contextual effect of social capital on General Health perception, an ecological analysis has some limitations. While multilevel analysis provides a theoretical and technical framework that can help reconceptualize much of social capital research. We begin by outlining the conceptual motivation behind multilevel analysis, then introduce the idea of multilevel models and discuss the implication for social capital research., 健康分野の研究を概観した場合には,従来,着目されてきた個人レベルの特性に加えて,近年,地域レベルの社会的要因がわれわれの健康に及ぼす影響に対してその認識,再認識がなされつつある。そうしたなかで,地域レベルの社会的要因の一つとしてSocial Capital (ソーシャル・キャピタル)に対してその関心が高まっており,地域レベルと個人レベルの要因を加味した分析手法の必要性が指摘されてきた。そこで,本研究においては,主として教育学,人口統計学,社会学などの分野において検討がなされてきた統計手法であるマルチレベル分析に関して,ソーシャル・キャピタル研究における意義とその適用に関して明らかにした。},
