Although the importance of this perspective is emphasized, its methodology has not yet been well established. The purpose of this study is to propose methodological implications to present a holistic picture of regional traits through the analysis of the Niigata city health and welfare consciousness survey. As a result, some regional traits are shown, but deep interpretation and coherent description of regional traits are also necessary. Expected methodological development includes the use of ethnography as a valuable means of understanding holistic everyday life of residents and latent
